The\n                        duo splits in 2007 just after\n                        releasing their first LP “Burn Your Own Church”, but were quickly\n                        resurrected as a four-member\n                        band with a harder rock edge.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\u003C\u002Fdiv>\u003C\u002Fsection> \u003Csection class=\"section\">\u003C!----> \u003C!----> \u003C!----> \u003Cdiv class=\"container\">\u003Cdiv class=\"row justify-content-center align-items-center my-3\">\u003Cdiv class=\"col-md-6 col-12 \">\u003Ch2>The old school way\u003C\u002Fh2> \u003Cp>In 2008, Rebotini released his first solo album “Music Components”, which was\n                created using only hardware\n                synthesizers and drum machines.\n            \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>The album cover itself notes that “the music engraved on the enclosed CD was\n                produced exclusively from\n                these devices”, above a collage of classic electronic instruments.\n            \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp class=\"mb-3\">This method of music-making became Arnaud’s sonic signature, one\n                he carried with him to\n                future releases and his live performances. This ambition no doubt led\n                to his success as a composer\n                for the big screen.\n            \u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv> \u003Cdiv class=\"col-md-6 col-12 mt-4\">\u003Cp>Building a working relationship with director Robin Campillo, he was asked to\n                create the music of his\n                second and third full-length feature films: “Eastern Boys” in 2013; and “120\n                Battements par Minute” \u002F\n                “120 BPM” in 2017.\n            \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>“120 Battements par Minute” tells the story of French ACT UP group and\n                their struggles raising\n                awareness of AIDS in the early 90s, demanding action from the government\n                and pharmaceutical\n                companies to combat the epidemic at a time when many officials\n                considered HIV too taboo to discuss.\n                For this one, Robin Campillo asked Rebotini to create a radiant\n                soundtrack, mixing bright House\n                music and acoustic orchestration to contrast with the dramatic events\n                depicted in the movie.\n            \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp class=\"mb-5\">After its release, the movie-going public and critics alike\n                applauded “120 Battements\n                par Minute” for its passion and urgency.
