Writing songs simply doesn’t cut it; it’s your job to conceptualise, produce, polish, and promote your content. For Rogers, they’re all pieces of the puzzle, and all part of the fun.\n                \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp class=\"quote\">I am obsessed with all the tiny details that encompass music creation. I find a lot of joy in the process, whether it be the recording, producing, mixing or mastering. Even the more challenging parts for me like marketing or video editing, I still feel excited to learn, because I know it’s for a greater overall purpose.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv> \u003Cdiv class=\"col-md-6 col-12 mt-3\">\u003Cp>After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in music production from Berklee, Rogers settled into the Seattle scene, both performing live and contributing to various creative projects. She notes that it hasn’t exactly been a walk in the park; despite the fact that we’re well into the 21st Century, music remains a male-dominated industry. Making progress is both challenging and empowering:\n                \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp class=\"quote\">Many women I know have echoed similar feelings of needing to work twice as hard to get only half of the recognition.
